Description

Up for auction are 7 unsexed Anomalochromis thomasi juvies, born and raised right here in Brooklyn. The fish in the photo is the father of the ones you'll receive. They're about 1 1/4 inches and growing fast. This is a beautiful West African dwarf, with males growing to 3 inches, females to 2.5. They're also known as dwarf jewel cichlids, which is very apt, as adults appear to be encrusted with amethysts, have ruby eyes and a topaz-colored patch on their gill plates. This is an extremely hardy, long lived species which outlives most other types of dwarf cichlid. Easy keepers and breeders, they'll eat anything thrown at them, but seem to appreciate some veggie flakes now and them. I'll ship with USPS Priority mail to NY, NJ and CT for $20.00 with no guarantee of live delivery. Shipping to the rest of the U.S. will be by USPS Express WITH a guarantee of live arrival. Please shoot me an email for a price quote. Pick-ups are always welcome. Fish will be be shipped in an insulated box with a heat pack included.
