Description

Up for sale are 2 pairs of Nanochromis transvestitus at about 1 1/2" TL. These are a beautiful little fish with a huge personality. These were bred in R/O water but have been raised in Akron, Ohio tap water with a pH of approx 7.3 The fish in the photo is one of our adult breeders. These are tank raised fish and are very healthy. The buyer may purchase more of these fish at the same per fish price of the winning bid. We prefer to ship overnight via USPS or FedEx and we guarantee live arrival if the fish arrive in 1 day are on time and there is someone home to accept delivery on the first attempt. If using USPS (Post Office) you can opt to use the "Hold For Pick-Up" option and you can pick up your package at your local post office, this saves your fish from riding around on the mail truck all day. If you are using the "Hold For Pick-Up" option you must pick up your fish within 3 hours of when they are available at the post office for the guarantee to be valid. In the event of a DOA fish you must email us a picture of the dead fish in our unopened bag within 2 hours of delivery. Once the shipping bag has been opened the guarantee is voided. We do not guarantee free fish and the guarantee does not cover any portion of the shipping charges. Replacement value will be credited towards your next order, we do not refund Paypal or credit cards. If you live close enough to our hatchery we can ship USPS Priority of FedEx Ground and the fish will get to you in 1 day. We can also ship USPS Priority 2-3 day delivery but we do not guarantee live arrival past 1 day. While we do not guarantee 2-3 day deliveries we do ship this way often and have no issues. We pack all of our fish in double or triple layer bags with a 50\50 mix of air\oxygen or pure oxygen as needed. We provide styro line boxes and heat packs (when needed) at no additional cost to you. You can email us at: fatfish@neo.rr.com with your zip code to get a shipping quote or with any other questions you may have -- please do this BEFORE YOU BID. Payment can be made by Paypal or credit card and should be made 3-4 days after the close of the sale. If you pay by credit card there will be an additional fee of 4% of the total sale (fish + shipping) added to the final price. Remember you can combine my auctions or purchase additional fish to help defray the cost of the shipping. We like to ship on Mondays and Tuesdays and once we receive your payment we will set up a shipping day. We fast your fish for 3 days prior to shipping to cut down waste in the shipping bag. Generally if you pay by Thursday or Friday we can ship the first of the following week. All of the fish that we sell are raised in our Family Run Fish Hatchery.
