Bleeding Heart Tetra/Spotfin Tetra Hyphessobrycon erythrostigma
This large and deep-bodied tetra sports a deep rosy hue with a bright scarlet spot just behind the gills, giving this tetra it's name. Sensitive to fluctuations in water conditions, this tetra would do best in a well-established aquarium with slightly acidic water. Once established, they tend to be hardy and can reach over three inches in length. To see the best color and behavior out of them, keep these fish in groups of six or more.
