An active and hardy tetra suitable for even the beginner aquarist, they are tolerant of a wider range of water parameters than some of their more delicate counterparts. A bright silver body is topped with their signature yellow, black, and white striped dorsal and a bright red tail. These fish will thrive in groups of six or more in a peaceful aquarium.
