Hello folks! Happy August!! This offering is for three 5 to 6 inch long Hypostomus laplatae! These are NEW Pleco that was collected in Uruguay. These fish are true "algae eaters" and will aggressively eat everything from Green Beans to Algae wafers. They are not bad plant eaters as long as you feed them veggie matter regularly. I have had these 3 fish about 4 Months now and they have doubled in size. I took the photo's below earlier today and I am pretty certain there's 2 Females along with 1 Male. Have a look for yourself, that why I take all these dang photo's for! These catfish are NOT shy and come right out and eat the moment I add food to their tank. The fish I have are tank raised and I am also pretty sure they were originally from Mike Drawdy's farm - Imperial Tropical's. He has a nice photo of 1 of his adults and you can check that out HERE This is a 1 time offering cuz all I bought were 3 of them. If I would have realized how fast they grow and the fact they seem to be fairly easy to sex at an early age I would have picked up a few more but like the old saying goes- "Live and Learn Lotsoffish."
