Description

We reserve the right to delay shipping due to high temperatures, we want our fish to arrive in good condition. You are bidding on 8 (7 + 1 Free) of these great Aspidoras and out of 8 fish you should get a good mix of males and females. These fish are around 1" TL (nose to tip of tail) and growing fast. The winner of this auction may buy additional fish at the cost of the per fish winning bid. All of the fish we sell are bred by us in our Family Run Fish Hatchery. With over 40 years experience keeping and breeding aquarium fish we feel we can offer you quality fish at a fair price. Since we do not import fish to sell you do not have to worry about getting fish that have been shipped for days at a time making multiple stops before reaching your aquarium. Since we are dealing with live fish we like to ship the fastest way possible. USPS (US Postal) Express is 1 day to most places but some out laying areas this will be a 2 day delivery. We also like using FedEx overnight but this can be a little more expensive. Another advantage with USPS is the Hold For Pick Up option which means they will hold the fish at the post office nearest to you for you to pick them up, this saves the box from riding on the delivery truck all day. If you live close enough to our hatchery in Akron, Ohio we can often use FedEx Ground or USPS Priority and the fish will still reach you in 1 day. We offer a Live Delivery Guarantee as long as the fish are delivered in 1 day, are on time and and someone is home to receive them on the first delivery attempt. If you use the Hold For Pick Up Option with USPS you have to pick the fish up within 2 hours of when they are available. In the case of a DOA we need you to email us a picture of the dead fish in our unopened bag. Once the bag has been opened the guarantee is void. The guarantee does not cover any portion of the shipping cost and if we offer free fish in our auction the free fish is not guaranteed. If there is a DOA claim then the value of the dead fish is issued as a credit to be used on your next order, we do not refund credit/debit cards or PayPal. Due to the cost of shipping supplies we require a $20.00 minimum order. We can also ship USPS Priority with 2-3 day arrival and FedEx Ground with 2-3 day arrival but we DO NOT GUARANTEE any fish that are shipped longer then 1 day delivery. We only ship this way when weather conditions permit it. We ship 2-3 day deliveries most of the time and have minimal issues. If you live close enough to our hatchery you may set up a time to stop and pick up your fish in person to save the shipping cost. We also travel to many local fish club auctions in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania and may be able to set up a time to meet you at one of those functions. You can buy additional fish to help defray the cost of shipping. You may combine any of our auctions to help save on the per fish shipping costs. You may also have fish friends in your area that you may be able to split orders with. We pack all of our fish in double or triple bags as needed and we use oxygen on most fish and oxygen enriched air with our Corydoras and Loricariid type catfish. We provide Styro line boxes and use heat packs as the weather dictates. Our fish are packed very well and are made to travel cross country with no issues. Payment should be sent no later than 4 days after the close of the auction. We accept PayPal as well as debit/credit card payments. If paying by credit/debit card there be an additional 4% fee, this fee is based on the final total (fish + shipping). Once the auction is closed and the shipping cost has been established then we will send you a PayPal invoice and you can pay from that. Please make sure the shipping info is correct with PayPal as that will be the address that we will be shipping to. We like to ship on Mondays and Tuesdays in case the shipment is late arriving. Once we have received your payment we will set up a shipping day. We fast your fish for 3 days to cut down on the waste in the shipping water. Generally if you pay by Thursday or Friday we can ship the first of the following week. All of our fish are raised in Our Family Run Fish Hatchery
