Hello folks! Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!!! I know I'm saying this a week early but that's cuz I am taking a BREAK next week and will NOT be posting any offerings over the 3 day weekend. The last few weeks I have been commenting on the LARGE sized Wild Caught Corydoras I have seen making the rounds at the Importers this Spring and I am finally ready to offer some I picked up in March. Many times Corydoras do not travel all that well on their journey to the USA and when they arrive rough I have to take a hard look at them and decide if I can turn them around or if I would be best off just taking a pass on them for now. It's one of the hardest parts of this business and if I make the wrong choice it can end up costing me a whole lot of money, time, tank space and at the end of the day heartache if I can't stabilize the fish and get them back into superb condition for breeding or auctioning. Believe me when I tell you, things don't always go my way no matter how how much effort I put into getting some of these fish off the critical list and well on their way to recovery. The day I bought these fish in March I lost 2 of them in between the wholesale facility and my fish room and I wasn't very hopeful as I shut down the fish room lights that evening. The next morning there was one more down for the count but now after 8 weeks of TLC, modern medicine, water changes, good foods and pristine water conditions I am happy to say these Corydoras are ready to ROCK on out of there. These are called "Super" Arcuatus Corydoras CW036 and they get noticeably larger than what many "Cory experts" call Cory arcuatus or Skunk Corys. The fish I am offering are HUGE and as you can see I only added 4 to the same photography container I normally photograph groups of 7 Adult Cory's in. I have only maintained this species one time in the past and have never had any as large as these! Win this offering and I will send you a Group of 6 "Super" Arcuatus Corydoras CW036.
