This listing is for a beautiful, still growing young male Halfmoon betta, imported from Thailand, which means that he is in our fish room, here in the USA, and you don't have to wait a month to have him, or pay extra for shipping and other fees. He is very active, eating well and in perfect health and condition. This beautiful betta has show quality color and form, because it was bred by one of the most experienced and reputable betta breeders in Thailand. � DETAILS: FISH: Halfmoon Betta� AGE: about 3 to�3.5�months old at time of listing. SEX: Male. COLOR: Multicolor. QUANTITY:�1 � The pictures are as accurate as possible. However, different monitors may cause colors to vary slightly, and they are enlarge to better show details. We don't Photoshop, or use any special camera equipments. All the editing we do to our pictures is enlargement and closeups. The fish in the picture will be the actual fish that you will receive in the mail. � The fish will likely arrive pale, and a little stressed out from the long trip, but don't panic, once they settled into their new home the colors will become more vibrant, and they will be more active. Wait a few hours to feed them for the first time. It would also help to show him/her a mirror, or put it next to another betta and let them see each other for a few minutes 2 or 3 times a day. � *Please! Be advised, that unfortunately sometimes they have a rough trip and arrive with damaged fins, or sick due to the stress. In the event that this happens to your fish, this is what you should do. Put it in a small container. Any glass jar, or bowl of about 1/2 gallon to 1 gallon would be perfect. Use treated water with IAL (Indian Almond Leaf) and add one spoon of aquarium salt per gallon of water. Every day do a 100% water change, and add IAL, and aquarium salt when you do the water change. In less than a week your betta will be fine, and the fins should be growing back if they got damaged in the trip. � SHIPPING: Our shipping charges are actual cost. We do combined shipping if you buy more than one fish, with an additional $4.00 charge per fish for shipping and handling. Our shipping days are Monday - Wednesday. We only ship on these days to avoid the fish to spend a weekend in a warehouse somewhere. We offer a 1-day handling time, but it ONLY applies if the fish is purchased early on the week, because we only ship Mondays to Wednesdays to avoid the weekend at the post office.
