6 (Six) WC "Rio Negro" P. altum from the Brazilian Rio Icana. 16 week acclimation/QT period to PNW tap water, neutral 7.0, and soft 100 us/cm. Prophylactic courses of flubendazole, and praziquental for any parasites. These have actually been really great fish. They came clean, and never blew up. They've managed the last 4 months without any bacterial issues, or antibiotic treatments. Eating Tetra flake, Royal Menu sinking pellet, and frozen foods. .
