For sale quantity of one (1) premium Platinum Veil Angelfish. Due to the guanine crystals within this particular pair and strain they may also exhibit glitter. The males will typically display prominent streaks within their fins and are generally larger than the females exhibiting more expressed dorsal and anal fins. Pics are of an earlier batch that are now a half dollar in size. Some of these angels may also exhibit large veils while some will be a more standard or a medium fin variety. Angels are approximately a dime or larger in size. They are breeding true to form and coloration characteristics of this particular strain and are indeed exceptional angelfish. Platinum Angelfish are said to have been originally derived from the line of Gold Angelfish, the result of two copies of a recessive gene. Even as juveniles, Platinum Angelfish display a brilliant white sheen, and as the fish matures, a greenish-blue tint only further enhances the exquisite beauty of this extraordinary aquarium inhabitant.
