Description

This is a rarely imported paradisefish, similar in shape and attitude to the more commonly seen M. opercularis. These are about eight months old -- I have them in a crowded tank to limit aggression so they're fairly pale right now but as soon as you spread them out a bit the males will darken and show off their red highlights. They're undemanding, easy to spawn and raise, and eat anything I give them. The males will fight, though, so be ready to separate them or provide shelter when they start flaring! $20 for shipping via priority mail, or you pay real costs if you prefer overnight.
