Peacock Gudgeon Tateurndina ocellicauda
One of the smallest (but also most brightly colored) members of the gudgeon family, these brightly colored little fish are hardy and easy to keep, making them suitable for even beginner aquarists. Growing to only about 2.5 inches, they won't require a large tank in which to thrive and even breed. They prefer slightly acidic water and plants or small caves in which to take cover.
