50+ Live Scuds

over 50 live Hyalella azteca "scuds" of all sizes

Scuds are small freshwater amphipods that can grow to about 1/4th an inch (5mm) long. They are part of the natural diet for many small fish in the wild and make for an excellent live food. They are scavengers that love to graze on algae- including hair algae, fish waste, and any uneaten foods. In addition to being used as fish food, a scud culture can be used as a cleanup for plants that get covered in algae. Just be sure to remove the plant when clean, as hungry scuds will eat the plant when all other foods are gone.

All livestock has been bred and raised in my fish room. No fresh imports, and none of the "bonus" pests and diseases that come with fresh imports.

Payment through PayPal Only - an invoice will be sent after auction close to the listed email.

I only ship to addresses within the continental US at this time.

I ship Live goods on Mondays and Tuesdays - your lot will be shipped the first Monday or Tuesday after payment is received.

• UPS 2 day air shipping (with NO DOA coverage) is avaliable on request for $22, or Next Day/Express shipping for Gauranteed live arrival.
