AUCTION
Two 1 liter bottles with culture. You select the cultures. The photo shows bottles with only water for reference.

WHITE WORMS:
Enough medium for two sandwich sized containers. The medium is taken directly from an established culture. It will contain around 100 worms and however many eggs are in the medium.

SCUDS - indoor:
Indoor cultured, under fluorescent lighting, kept at a minimum of 68 degrees, and fed primarily fruits, vegetables, and crushed snails.

You receive 40 to 50 scuds.

MOINA or PULEX or MAGNA - indoor:
These are cultured using fluorescent light, kept unheated in my garage, and are fed primarily from aquarium mulm & banana peel.

These are 'cycled' cultures - I have had them running for a couple weeks in the bottle. If you place the bottle under fluorescent light there is no need to feed it. It will thrive without feeding as its a closed system. I add the right organic matter, add a piece of banana peel, and place that under light. The light encourages the growth of algae & bacteria a small population of daphnia will thrive on.

There are 20 to 30 magna, 30 to 40 pulex, and 50 to 100 moina. The purpose of receiving your daphnia this way is it gives you more time to establish a new culture - a time when daphnia are most vulnerable to crashing. This small culture will continue to produce small numbers of daphnia that you can harvest from if your primary culture doesn't start-up the first time. PS - it only takes a few daphnia to quickly start any indoor culture.

The culture will be free of other organisms. The daphnia were isolated and the culture started with sterile ingredients.

GUARANTEE
I will replace a DOA package at no cost to you.

I strongly encourage you to read my culturing articles, found on my Facebook page, 'White Worm Man'. There you will find culturing articles(in Notes), videos, and photo albums, on daphnia, scuds, and white worms. Make sure to read the articles in the 'Notes' section.
