This is a warm weather strain I have kept continuously for well over a decade - never with one problem.
AUCTION: Medium USPS box filled with:
1) Culture: A small USPS box filled with established culture, that is guaranteed to arrive alive, and survive the first month. The smaller box in the photo is filled with medium taken directly from a culture. It contains hundreds of worms, an unknown number of eggs, and can be used immediately.
2) Medium: The rest of the box is filled with new coco fiber that I have treated to reduce sodium & tannins. This is enough medium to make over one dozen shoebox cultures.
3) Food: Enough dry food to feed your culture for two weeks.
GUARANTEE:
If your culture shows up DOA, I will replace it with another small USPS priority box, at no cost. If your culture fails anytime in the first month, I will replace with a small starter, in a first class envelope, at no cost.
There is a lot of old information suggesting white worms be kept at chilly temperatures. However, over the decades, this species has been found at a variety of locations around the globe, and many strains have been in the hobby for decades. My culture temperatures reach over 80 degrees. A cool place in your home, a garage for me, is all that is needed to culture this white worm strain. If you live in a very hot location a fan or frozen water bottle during the hottest days will keep them happy.
Like my Facebook culturing page to find a variety of information. You will find videos, articles, and photo albums, all demonstrating how I culture.
