Description

The total cost of this auction is $20(culture) + $8(shipping) = $28. My paypal account is ryanthehut@gmail.com

It's common to co-culture daphnia & scuds as they are cultured identically. Pulex are the easiest & most productive of daphnia big enough for large fish to eat.

AUCTION:
Small USPS box with bag of 100 pulex & 20 scuds - from an outdoor culture. You also receive several floating salvinia plants for scuds to cling to during shipping.

I will replace a DOA box one time if somebody is home to meet the mailman on the first delivery attempt.

There are hundreds of species of daphnia, and nobody knows exactly what species they have. They are commonly referred to as moina, pulex, and magna, to designate what size they are. Many daphnia listed with the same name are likely entirely different species, meaning they may have differing needs. For example, if you have soft water, and obtain a starter from somebody with hard water, you likely aren't going to have success. Consider how the culture you are interested in is cultured. Are cultured indoor or outdoor, temperature, hardness, Ph, and how they are fed.

My conditions:
Ph: 6.9
Hardness: 4-5
Temperature: Indoor: 60 to 75 degrees / Outdoor: Varies. My average lows in winter is 35 degrees.
Food: Indoor: Leeching from fruits & vegetables, baby food, florescent lights
Outdoor: Sun, leeching from fruits & vegetables.
