Our eggs are properly stored for moisture-free long-term storage below freezing level

Storage of unopened cans of Brine Shrimp Eggs: Unopened cans of Brine Shrimp Eggs should always be stored in your freezer.

How to open cans of Brine Shrimp Eggs: Cans should be removed from the freezer and allowed to sit at room temperature for two hours or until all condensation has disappeared from the outside of the can. The can should now be opened and the amount of eggs needed for 2-3 weeks transferred to a clean, dry re-sealable container. The provided plastic lid should be used to seal the can and then the closed can should be placed in a one gallon plastic zip lock bag, sealed and then put back in your freezer. The smaller container should also be sealed and placed in your refrigerator. This procedure should be followed every time you need to replenish the small container in your refrigerator. Moisture in the form of humidity causes brine shrimp eggs to absorb very small amounts of water in the form of condensation and this causes big problems with the eggs. Moisture begins the process of hatching but it does not allow the completion of that process, this lowers the hatching rate over time. Proper storage and removal of the can of the brine shrimp eggs from storage is the key to maintaining high hatch rates.

These Brine Shrimp Eggs are a proud product of the USA, and not from questionable and unregulated Asian sources.
