Description

Auction is for 1+ Inch of Green Cactus Pavona- Pavona is a very hardy SPS coral that puts down a reasonable amount of encrustation before making flat rounded branches arrising from various parts of the "Base". It is not uncommon over time that the branches can become dense enough to give a ruffled appearance to mature colonies. When spread out this coral certainly deserves it common name of cactus pavona as demonstrated in the growth in the pictures. When in proper conditions the coral will extend small feeder polyps that can give an almost grassy look swaying in the flow that is very pleasing. This coral is Tolerant various lower light condiditions but prefers moderate to moderate high lighting, the same can be said about flow. Very hardy and not temperamental about water conditions it seems to grow well in systems of low to moderate sized bio loads\organics. Also a moderate spreader that can cover some ground while not being too intrusive.
