Needle Leaf Java Fern You have the CHOICE of plant *E* or *F*. If you use Buy it Now you will receive BOTH. Compare prices (even to just regular Java Fern) it's a GREAT deal! Great alternative to regular Java Fern, the leaves can get really long, are much narrower, especially in lower light, and give a dark green grassy effect. Grows just as easily and quickly. These are full dense young plants, not little plantlets, and can be divided right away if desired. These were grown floating and very close to the light which causes the leaves to stay short and the plants to grow very densely. The 2nd photo below is what they look like when they are started from the mother plant and still have some of the old very long leaves. That is what you can expect the new growth to be like once they are established in your tank, very long and willow-y. I've had leaves up to a foot long. One square on the grid is 2/3" so 3 squares equals 2". WYSIWYG, photo taken 8/23. I tied these to ceramic tiles (7/31) so the leaves will begin to grow upward instead of horizontally.
