Cryptocoryne costata (Albida)

All Cryptocoryne plants under go Cryptocoryne melt (crypt melt) or Crypt rot. Usually it happens when there is a change to its water parameter. The symptom of crypt melts is exactly the name says ?the leaves of the plant melts?. I don?t think there is a solution/medication for this. Just leave the plant undisturbed. Remove any old rotted leaf without disturbing the plant root. In most of the case it re-grows after few weeks. � Cryptocoryne Costata (albida) has a long acclimatization period before growth starts. It is available in two color varieties (light-green and the other red-brown). it is an easy plant to grow with nutritious substrate and bright light.
