Hemianthus callitrichoides

Hemianthus callitrichoides also known as Dwarf Baby Tears is one of the smallest aquarium plants in the world, and creeps over the bottom with millimetre-sized round leaves. If planted in small clumps a few centimetres apart, it will spread rapidly and cover the bottom like a carpet.

Potted plants are better to start with then "bunched" plants as they have their entire root system intact which makes them less likely to go in to shock when transplanted in your aquarium.
