Easy. Adaptable, will tolerate soft or moderately hard water, low to medium light, some additional fertilization beneficial or necessary. pH 6.0 to 7.5, GH up to 15 degrees/260ppm.

Origin: Southeast Asia: Endemic to Sumatra (Padang Province). Grows in slow-moving rivers and streams in lowland forests; in their lower reaches, the waters are influenced by tides but remain strictly freshwater.

We grow this plant in our hard water In Western NY and they thrive !!
