Description

This listing is for the amount of frogbit (Limnobium laevigatum) that fits in a 3.25 oz container. I can combine shipping with any other auctions from my listings as long as you let me know before I send an invoice. Read my JustMe page for information on my current water parameters, though different hardness and dosing concentrations can work for you. These are grown indoors, and there will be no pest snails nor duckweed in the order. There may be microfauna hitchhikers, including ostracods, daphnia, cyclops, and detritus worms.

Care
Amazon frogbit is an easier floating plant to manage, sometimes too easy so long as the tops of the leaves remain dry. It benefits from liquid fertilizer (substrate tabs will NOT benefit this plant), and will not tolerate being submerged long term, nor having water droplets constantly on the leaves. If you have issues with surface scum, I recommended getting a surface skimmer and finding a way to corral these plants away from it, as these kinds of plants will both impede the flow of surface scum from being filtered into the skimmer and block important gas exchange between the surface water and air as a result. If the plant arrives with melted roots but the leaves and centers are still green/viable, trim the melted portions off (carefully as to not damage the center where the leaves connect) and place the plant on the water surface right side up. It should develop more roots after acclimating.

Shipping/Payment
Shipping is $12 for USPS priority mail, and can be combined with other auctions from my listings. Continental US only EXCEPT California and Washington state. If you live in either of these states (of which frogbit is banned), DO NOT BUY/BID ON THIS LISTING. I will cancel the order if you have a shipping address in one of these states and attempt to buy this plant.
Please ensure your shipping information is up to date, and make sure this plant is not banned in your state!
I will only ship Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid weekend delay. Shipping charges are NOT refundable.

Live Arrival Guarantee
I can only guarantee live arrival if your temperatures are above freezing and below 90 F. If all your plants arrive DOA within the stated temperatures, send photos same day of receiving the package showing that the plants are dead, and I will refund the amount for the plants. I am not responsible for any plant loss that occurs once it's in your care. Please note there may be some die back in some plants that need to acclimate due to shipping stress and different water parameters.

Once in your possession, please keep all unwanted plant cuttings (including stems, rhizomes, or any plant part that can continue growing) out of natural/manmade water sources and dispose of it properly.
