This auction is for an USPS priority small flat rate box full� of HORNWORT. The price you pay includes the shipping costs of $5.80 that these boxes cost to ship so it is a pretty good deal. I will fit as many hornwort inside as it is safely possible for the plants so they arrive in the best condition possible. If you don't know how big these boxes are I have a picture in here that shows the box and the measures. Horn worth propagate by cuttings so you might receive a bi plant several feet long that you can cut in several small pieces to make more plants. This is a good option if you are trying to create a nice curtain on the back or your tank or a dense forest on corners.�

Hornwort description

Hornwort (Ceratophyllum demursum) is a floating plant that does not put down roots, although it can be anchored down into the substrate of the tank with weights. Not to be confused with the Hornwort that grows on land, the water variety grows widely across the world in temperate regions including North America and the UK. Hornwort grows in long strands of up to two feet long, and has very dark green leaves that look like fronds along the length of the plant. Hornwort is a very hard to kill plant and one of the few ones that withstand the abuse of fish like goldfish. After deciding whether you wish to attach them to the substrate or allow them to float freely within the tank, they will pretty much take care of themselves. As the plants do not lay down roots, attaching them to the substrate can be a challenge as they have a tendency to escape if not firmly anchored or planted in a pot. Hornwort is tolerant of a wide range of temperature variations, and will thrive in a pH range of 6-7.5. They also do well with only moderate light, so will be equally happy in an illuminated tank or one that only received natural light. A general aquarium plant fertilizer and supplemental Co2 fertilizer will really make your plants thrive but is not necessary. Hornwort continue to grow and reproduce under the right circumstances, and will usually live for the entire lifecycle of the tank. It reproduce by cuttins so you can create more plants by cutting a big one in several parts. It is a plant used for breeding fish cause it give the fry a place to hide from hungry parents or neighbors. Many fish use it also to lie their eggs. �

Here I show some examples of this plant. First picture is a breeding tank, fish love this plant for breeding purposes and small fry will hide on it. The second picture is a betta tank. Bettas like this plant to build their bubble nests. � �

SHIPPING:� Shipping is free. We only ship to the US including Puerto Rico. No international shipping. We ship only USPS priority mail that takes usually 2-3 days to deliver. Please remember that the date ebay shows you is just an estimate of arrival and not the real thing. You will get a tracking number it is important you check this tracking number 2-3 times each day to see when the box will arrive to your home. Please make sure you are at home the day of the arrival or arrange for some one to be there to receive the plants and that knows how to properly care for the plants. The less time they spend on the box the better. I ship Monday to Thursday in order to avoid the weekend. If you buy on Thursday morning or latter than that your plants will be ship on Monday. �

YOUR ADDRESS:� Before buying any plants you must make sure that your phisical address on your paypal account is correct. Sometimes people move and they dont change the address. If you need your plants ship to a friend or family member please leave a note when you check out telling me the full name and address. Also make sure the person knows the tracking number of the order.

RETURNS:� You can return plants in the first 14 days. Please do not return any item without contacting me first for instructions. The cost of shipping to returns items is the responsibility of the buyer and must use priority mail. �

DEAD ON ARRIVAL OR DAMAGED PLANTS OR BOXES:� Plants tend to suffer when on shipping. It is normal for them to lose some leaves, get a lighter or darker color or even to smell funny and look mushy. Remember that the plants have spent 3 days inside a box with no water sunlight or proper air. They will recover their normal color and grow once on your tank. IF YOU RECEIVE EXTREMELY DAMAGED PLANTS, FROZEN PLANTS OR A BOX THAT HAS BEEN BROKEN OR DAMAGE IN ANY WAY PLEASE TAKE PICTURES. The only way to prove that your plants arrived dead is taking a picture and sending the picture to us. There is an option on ebay messages to upload pictures. After the delivery of the box you have 72 hours to send a picture of the dead plants. I will refund or replace the damaged plants.�

A case is something you should open when the buyer and the seller do not understand each other. If you are having and problem send me a message and I will fix it.�
