Description

Auction is for Three stems of Cabomba palaeformis. this is a Red Cabomba similar to C. furcatus but not quite as red and not nearly as difficult. The stem is a rich red on this all of the time. The leaves can range from green to red to even purplish. all depending on water chemistry and light levels.. Of course, the higher the light the richer the red on the leaves. This plant is much more forgiving on light than the C furcatus is though.. in lower than high light levels it lightens the red leaves somewhat instead of just dropping the leaves completely off. It does like a nutrient rich substrate like all Cabombas. once it is rooted it will produce multiple stems off each base and make a nice full patch easily. clip the stems when they get long and replant giving a new stem. And the old stem will grow new growth apexes making it several stems worth all by itself.
