Description Lot of 6 - These are young fish that are approx. 1-1.25'' and are not sexed. Louisiana swamp longears Lepomis megalotis, live in similar habitat as dollar sunfish, backwater areas with little or no current and lots of vegetation. Similar to the Missouri Longear in Size and Aggression. Adult Males have a large patch of solid red on their sides, and both male and females have blue edges to the scales giving them a crosshatch pattern.
