20 + 4 Pink (Albino) Ramshorns
Photo above was taken September 6th and shows one of the available snails. I usually do not photograph my snails under plant lights because it makes them look unnaturally pink. To see some pics from the past at different ages and in different (normal) lighting, click HERE to expand a slideshow (stays in same window). Any variations are environmental, they are genetically the same.
But you use plant lights?
And want to see what they would look like?
Okay, this is some pink rams under an Azoo Tri-Power bulb.
The snails you will receive will be small to medium pea sized. Most are not breeding yet but grow quickly and will be soon. And yes, they will breed true. The shells are overall good to excellent as you can see. More importantly, they are healthy (and happy?) and ready to be pretty janitors in your tank.
FYI, ALL Pink Ramshorns are complete albinos, there is no pink pigment, just their red blood. ALL Pink Ramshorns are brighter in warmer water and more pastel in cooler water, it varies only with how much hemoglobin is in their blood, more in warm, less in cool. ALL Pink Ramshorns have completely colorless shells, quite clear when young then gradually becoming translucent and nearly opaque when they get old. If the shell erodes or is abraded, the shell will appear frosted or even white. Anyone advertising otherwise either doesn't know what they are talking about or is purposely trying to be deceptive, you decide.
The winner will receive a comprehensive care sheet which can be downloaded and printed if desired. Briefly, no acidic water, no soft water, no big fish. They will eat soft algae if hungry but live plants only if starving. Temps up to 80F. These make good companions for guppies, nano fish and easy shrimp.

Term details are on my Just Me page which was updated August 24, 2014. Read it before bidding.
Payment is through PayPal only (you do not need an account, just a credit card), no e-checks. When paying with PayPal, you must use a shipping address, my account is configured to only accept PayPal Confirmed Addresses and I only ship to the address given in PayPal.
Priority Mail shipping is just postage for 2 pounds from 01888, $5.32 to $9.97. You can check that cost yourself at usps.com, it will be much faster than asking me for a quote, use the online price (Regional Rate Box A), not the post office price. I ship to PO Boxes if it's Confirmed Address.
The snails will be in a generous amount of water and divided between multiple bags. The box will be insulated with styrofoam. I am not offering a coldpack. No shipping to locations with highs above 85F.
Local pickup can be arranged at 462 Washington St Woburn MA 01801, weekdays, late afternoon.
Shipping will be delayed if extreme weather may endanger the animals, ...it's a hobby not an organ transplant!
LAG for 20 for 3 days if <85F. The + quantity is extra and not covered by LAG.
Some of my other auctions may be combined with this for savings on shipping costs.
Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
