These BB to small pea size Magenta Mysteries are babies, hatched in July. There are also baby Ivories if you would like to substitute a couple. Magenta, Pink, Light Purple, Light Foot Purple etc. are all the same thing, the body is nearly white with orange eyes and markings and the shell is light with stripes, pale pink when very young and darkening with age. Ivory have the same body but no color in the shell.
These would do best in a shrimp or snail only tank or with small fry for the next couple of weeks just so they won't have to compete much for food. They grow FAST and once they are pea sized need no special care other than the usual dietary requirements and of course suitable tankmates.
These do need veggies in their diet. Collard or dandelion greens are great choices. Green beans and peas are good too. Plain lettuce doesn't really have any nutritional value (except Romaine). Spinach contains oxalic acid which prevents the calcium from being bio-available so I don't recommend it as a staple food. They will eat some soft algaes but I would not call them a serious algae eater, regardless of what others may say about how they will end your algae woes.
They like to clean up fish food which has fallen to the bottom. This is important if you ever overfeed. You do not want old food rotting in the tank with the chance that a fish might try to eat it. It's a misconception that snails eat fish poo, sorry, it doesn't work like that. They DO NOT eliminate the need to clean the tank or do waterchanges. Putting too many in a tank will increase the maintenance needed, more isn't better.
Suitable tankmates include most gentle community fish. Most loaches and cichlids are poor choices. Even if the snail is not killed outright, constantly having their antennas or bodies nipped at will make their lives miserable. In a suitable environment, mystery snails are active. A shrimp tank is heaven for them and the shrimp ride around on them.
The winner will receive a comprehensive care sheet which can be downloaded and printed if desired. Briefly, no acidic water, no soft water, no big fish. Temps up to 80F. These make good companions for small & nano fish and especially easy shrimp.

Term details are on my Just Me page which was updated May 2nd 2014. Read it before bidding.
Payment is through PayPal only (you do not need an account, just a credit card), no e-checks. When paying with PayPal, you must use a shipping address, my account is configured to only accept PayPal Confirmed Addresses.
Check your forecast! If your weather is moderate, highs in the 80s (or less), shipping is just postage for 1 pound from 01888, $5.05 to $6.51. You can check that cost yourself at usps.com, it will be much faster than asking me for a quote, use the online price (non-flat rate), not the post office price. I ship to PO Boxes if it's Confirmed Address.
Hot locations, high 80s and up, will require a PO Box which is a PayPal Confirmed address OR Next Day shipping OR a helluva lot more insulation. It's not negotiable so email for costs before bidding.
Shipping will be delayed if extreme weather may endanger the snails, ...it's a hobby not an organ transplant!
LAG for 6 for 3 days if >40F and <85F.
Some of my other auctions may be combined with this for savings on shipping costs.
