� � PLEASE READ ENTIRE AUCTION & TERMS BEFORE BIDDING Shipping to contiguous 48 states only, (CONUS, not AK, HI, or PR). � One Light Foot Purple ( Pink / Magenta ) Mystery Snail Clutch This clutch was laid a few days ago and should yield at least 150 snails, possibly more. Shown is the clutch you will receive, I don't like buying clutches sight unseen and I won't ask you to either. Sorry it's so blurry but it's on the front in a corner with another tank right above it, I had to hold the camera over the tank and hope for the best. Second photo is what they will look like in a couple of months, shown eating a big collard leaf. Third is the mother snail laying a previous clutch. � � � � � � Think the colors aren't as bright as some other sellers? It's because I didn't use special lights or Photoshop. I show them to you as they are likely to look in your tanks. You will NOT have that disappointment of the snails never looking anything like the photos. I only keep a few snails of this color and don't have these light foot purple clutches very often so bid now if you're interested. Check the prices these pink/magenta/purple snails are going for, even if you only get a buck a piece you will come out way ahead. I may have other color clutches available too, check my other auctions. This must be shipped before they hatch! Do not bid unless you have an active PayPal account in good working order and can make an instant payment. No e-checks, no Money Orders. Ask any questions BEFORE bidding. Please have a responsible plan for housing the snails as they grow and an outlet for all the extras. You will end up with more than can be kept in a couple of small tanks! Or a dozen large tanks. If you only want a few snails, this is not for you. Mystery snails should have hard water and an alkaline pH, 7.5 to 8.0 is good. In soft acid water you will have irrepairable problems with the shells which can ultimately be fatal, at the least it's unattractive. I consider these snails to be plant-safe, they do not eat most live plants unless they are starving. They do need veggies in their diet. Collard or dandelion greens are great choices. Green beans and peas are good too. Plain lettuce doesn't really have any nutritional value (except Romaine). They will eat dead plant foliage and some soft algaes but claims they will solve all your algae problems are greatly exaggerated. And of course they like to clean up fish food which has fallen to the bottom. Suitable tankmates include most gentle community fish. Most loaches and cichlids are poor choices. Even if the snail is not killed outright, constantly having their antennas or bodies nipped at will make their lives miserable. In a suitable environment, mystery snails are active. A wealth of information on keeping and hatching Mystery Snails can be found at AppleSnail.net. If you have never hatched a Mystery Snail clutch before, please do your research before bidding. This will be shipped Priority Mail and you have a choice of packaging options, choose wisely. A Small Flat Rate box insulated with 7/16" mylar skinned styro is $7. A #4 box lined with 1" mylar skinned styro is $9, I will not put heatpacks in these small boxes because they overheat way too easily. A regular Flat Rate box with 1/2" blue extruded styro and a heat pack is $15. The clutches from the mother snail are all completely fertile. However what happens to it during shipping and incubation after delivery can affect the yeild. If you choose a heatpack I will offer my standard guarantee of 3 days if >20F, if it doesn't hatch I will replace it.
