With good care they will grow extremely quickly, these golds grow twice as fast as my purple ones and get bigger as adults. Gold snails are the ones I keep decoratively in my tanks, they are the only ones which remain really bright as adults. Mystery snails are great at cleaning up food your fish miss. This makes them ideal for fry tanks and the snails even promote infusoria. They will eat some soft algae but are not nearly as effective as Nerites, I don't use them for algae control. They will clean up dead or dying foliage from live plants. Plus they are fairly active and quite attractive. You will receive a printable care sheet with your purchase. Briefly, no acidic water, no soft water, no big fish. They will eat soft algae if hungry but live plants only if starving. Temps up to 80F. These make good companions for guppies, nano fish and easy shrimp.
