50 Pink Pearl Ramshorns This auction is for 50, yes 50, of my pink ramshorns. These are not just pink snails I collected up out of various tanks which may have mated with snails of other colors. These snails are from a huge 100% pink colony going back a few generations. Every few weeks I gather up all these snails and remove any thowbacks before they are big enough to breed. I have been working with these for a year and find them to be very hardy and productive. These will breed true.

I think most people trying to breed pink snails are trying to select the lighter red ones. That is how I was doing it and it didn't work. Then last year I had some silver pearl rams ( picture ) appear and I realized what to cross to get pink... The photo below shows what you can expect to receive.

Size will be roughly pea sized, all will be bigger than BBs. Most will be big enough to breed. Shell condition will be fair to good but not perfect. None will be "feeder" quality with really bad shells.
General care info will be provided to the winner if needed. Briefly, no acidic water, no soft water, no big fish. They will eat soft algae if hungry but live plants only if starving. Temps up to 80F. These make good companions for guppies, nano fish and easy shrimp.
Term details are on my Just Me page. Please read it before bidding. A copy of these terms is also included in this auction as commented out text and can be viewed by looking at the page source. Please do not bid if you cannot pay AND accept delivery promptly. The only reason I delay shipment is my weather.
Payment is by PayPal only, no e-checks.
When paying with PayPal, you must include the address you wish the package sent to.
Priority Mail is $8 in a cardboard box with styro liner. This price does not include a heatpack, the risk of overheating the snails in a small box is too great. If you think you need a heatpack, email with zip. You have the option of USPS Hold for Pickup.
LAG for 3 days if >40F and <85F.
Some of my other auctions may be combined with this for savings on shipping costs.
Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
