Shown is the clutch you will receive, I don't like buying clutches sight unseen and I won't ask you to either. I have three gold clutches all laid the same night. The other two are listed in separate auctions if you would like more then one, shipping stays the same. Buy all 3 and shipping is FREE! � � � � I have kept all the colors of Mystery Snails and the Golds are what I keep as decorative snails in my tanks. They are all cute as babies, especially the light footed purple ones. But as adults it's the Golds which stay looking great throughout their whole lives. The Golds are hardy, grow fast and may get bigger. A happy Gold snail bubble surfing with the antennas waving is quite a sight! This must be shipped no later than Saturday October 8th so it can reach you before hatching. If it is not paid for by 8pm EDT on Friday October 7th, it will be destroyed. Do not bid unless you have an active PayPal account in good working order and can make an instant payment. The email address you receive from AquaBid is also my PayPal account, there is no need to wait for me. No e-checks, no Money Orders. Ask any questions BEFORE bidding. Please have a responsible plan for housing the snails as they grow and an outlet for all the extras. You will end up with more than can be kept in a couple of small tanks! Or a dozen large tanks. If you only want a few snails, this is not for you. Mystery snails should have hard water and an alkaline pH, 7.5 to 8.0 is good. In soft acid water you will have irrepairable problems with the shells which can ultimately be fatal, at the least it's unattractive. I consider these snails to be plant-safe, they do not eat most live plants unless they are starving. They do need veggies in their diet. Collard or dandelion greens are good choices. Plain lettuce doesn't really have any nutritional value (except Romaine). They will eat some soft algaes and dead plant foliage. And of course they like to clean up fish food which has fallen to the bottom. Suitable tankmates include most gentle community fish. Most loaches and cichlids are poor choices. Even if the snail is not killed outright, constantly having their antennas or bodies nipped at will make their lives miserable. In a suitable environment, mystery snails are active. A wealth of information on keeping and hatching Mystery Snails can be found at AppleSnail.net. If you have never hatched a Mystery Snail clutch before, please do your research before bidding. This clutch is being sold WITHOUT any email support at all. If you would like a complete hatching kit with platform, food and instructions, add $10. If you have hatched apple snails before, you know what to do.
