Description

First time offered anywhere in the world! You are bidding on 6 fish F-1, 1-1.5 inches in length. You will get both boys and girls in the mix. We were on our way back from Siriwo Village having spent a long and sleepless night in the noisiest truck stop and caf� that I have ever seen. It still was better than sleeping in the car and camping was out of the question with the 3 plus inch downpour that night. We decided to stop at this beautiful little river. It had nice and clear water and a gravel bottom, unlike so many other places where we sank in the mud. It was a perfect swimming hole with a few places deep enough to be over our heads. Seining was easy and we caught and released the big boys shown in the photos below. We kept some very small fish that are now producing our new generation of fish. DNA says this is related somewhat to Mel. goldiei but again on the north side of the mountains where goldiei come from the southern range. These are in a different drainage system than our M. species �Siriwo� and you can easily see that they are a different species. Like all rainbowfish easy to keep and breed, just change the water and feed them quality foods. If you�re tired of store bought crossed and washed out junk rainbowfish I have a better suggestion! Buy your rainbowfish from me. If you�re tired of seeing auctions that are just foisting the same Far East wholesaler, or worse, FLORIDA crap as their own, buy your rainbowfish from me. You get what you pay for� I raise and breed more species and location (river) variants of rainbowfish than anyone else in the United States. My rainbowfish are all raised by me and not imported from some offshore farm. My aquariums are carefully marked to ensure that similar species are not mixed up or crossed. So many rainbowfish look very similar when they are small so attention to detail is vital. You will see in my listings rainbowfish that have never been offered EVER in the United States. You�ll get prompt and courteous service and you�ll get some great fish that you�ll enjoy for years to come. When the auction ends on Saturday evening I would like to have an email by Sunday morning so I know whether a PayPal payment is coming shortly or whether we are waiting for a MO. Payment must be made within 5 days after the auction ends. If I am shipping on Monday morning your prizes need to have a good water change and go without food for 24 + hours so that they can be shipped to you in optimal shape. Without the 24 hour fast rainbowfish can easily get ammonia burn or worse. Express mail shipping is $36 or less for those that live closer. Save some shipping dollars by buying more than one auction. Rainbowfish really need to have a lot of oxygen to survive. I ship all of my fish in breather bags. I really recommend getting your rainbowfish via Express Mail instead of Priority. Live fish guarantee only with Express mail. Guarantee with immediate digital picture of dead fish - in the bag provides credit for the replacement of DOA fish.
