Tunes! Hello folks! Happy Friday! This offering is for 8 YOUNG Characodon lateralis "Los Berros". These are a brand new species for me and the Adult breeders I have were given to me by my long time fish friend Son of Conrad who just so happens to be another breeder who offers his fish on AquaBid.com from time to time. I have had the breeders in my fish room for about 6 months now and it's time to thin things out a little. You will receive all 8 fish you can see in the first set of photos below. There appears to be 3 Males and 2 Females that are about 1 inch long along with 3 at about 1/2" that I am offering as "unsexed". I believe these fish are from 2 different drops from 2 different females so I am including both sizes to expand the gene pool a little for you. These are a real interesting wild type livebearer also called Rainbow Goodeids. They do NOT eat their own fry and they are very active and really quite fun to have in the fish room. They eat everything I offer them including Tetramin, Xtreme Nano, and frozen and live baby brine shrimp with gusto and are pretty rare in the hobby according to what I have read on the Internet. I suggest you do a YouTube and Google search on them for more information regarding this species. I found several good articles on them and a few interesting videos on YouTube too! There's going to be plenty of extra room in this box and I'll add a reverse Trio of Japanese Blue Lyretail Guppies for you to work with too! These Japanese Blue Lyretail Guppies are one of those fish I just can't breed enough of and everyone who visits seems to end up leaving with some! Even if you don't care for them, breed some anyways, they are awesome trade bait and everyone seems to swallow them up! I also included the infamous question mark!
