Description

1 young adult trio of doadrioi. They are about half grown. The male is not in full adult coloration yet. The females are gravid. This is a nice strain of doadrioi. They do not produce deformed young(ie: bent peduncle, mishapen peduncle fin, bent spine). The fish in the photo are representative of the fish you will receive. They will be of the same age and from the same parent fish. These are a long lived, colorful, smaller goodeid. Adult females reach about 2 1/2 inches. Males a bit smaller. I keep mine in a bare tank with a mat of hornwort on the surface. They are in hard Lake Erie tap water at room temp(about 68-70 degrees). I feed them Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp and chopped, frozen bloodworms. They get a generous water change weekly(about 75%). They do not eat their fry in my set-up. There are almost always fry swimming with the adult and juvenile fish still showing their trophotaenia. Shipping is $15, non-refundable, on top of the winning bid. It includes an insulated box and necessary heat packs to get your fish to you in excellent condition. Payment is due at the close of auction via Paypal only.
