Description

The Chamula Blue-Eye Priapella chamulae (Tabasco) is a rarely seen livebearer native to Mexico. Adult females reach 2.5-3 inches in length. Males are a little smaller (1.5-2 inches). This is a very elegant little fish with its striking bright blue eyes and pale body with golden hues. They are fairly easy to keep and can make a lovely addition to the community tank. They eagerly accept a variety of flake and frozen foods. My adult females give birth to groups of 6-8 fairly large fry every 6-8 weeks. Parents will greedily eat their fry if not removed quickly. In this auction you will receive 2 young pair (2M,2F) at around 1.5 inches in length. These fish (like all of our fish) are tank raised here, healthy and active. Thanks for looking.
