Description

Xiphophorus birchmanni � Six 2-4 month old fish + 2 extras = $40 + Shipping. This is the large yellow population that was often seen at conventions, selling for top dollar in the auctions. These fish require good water conditions with slightly harder water and pH of 7.6 - 8.0. Fairly prolific when comfortable, the males often carry their dorsals extended. A very striking fish that needs to be bred out and kept the hobby! This is also the fish used by specialty breeders to increase the size and color of the dorsals on the X. helleri fancies. 2 extras are sent with every order of 6 to cover any that may be lost in shipment, while improvements in shipping have brought losses down to less than 1%. Styrofoam box shipment for a single order within the continental U.S. is $50 for overnight Express Mail delivery. Heat pack, if needed is $3. Fish are shipped when your temperatures are between 35-90 degrees. Shipping �Hold For Pickup� nearly assures live delivery when temps are at upper or lower extremes.
