They are live bearers and easy to breed. You won't find this one in the local pet shop. There young are large when they are born. For the most part they will let the young grow up with the parents if there are some plants in with them. This is one of the really very bright colored ones the picture doesn't do the fish justus. Shipped priority mail with confirmation slip in the post offices box which is cardboard $12. Live delivery is not guaranteed on priority shipping. Shipped express mail in Styrofoam box which you keep $35. The fish are guaranteed not the postage on express mail. YOU CAN COMBINE SHIPPING. If you decide on priority mail you might consider a heat pack because of the weather for $3 but that's up to you
