Description

GregMan here again, this time with some lovely Hi-Fin Bleeding Heart Wag Platies (X. maculatus). This fish are (wild guess ) 4-5 months old, and this auction includes the pair you see here and 3 other males, all HI-FINS! Bleeding Heart Wags are rare enough, but c'mon, hi-fins? You almost never see these! This strain breeds true, except for the Hi-Fin part. You will get 66% Hi-Fin babies, and 33% normal fins, because a double dose of the dominant Hi-Fin gene is lethal. These fish are in my regular tap water, pH 7.4, 150ppm, with 1/2 tsp. marine salt per gallon (you don't need the salt). I know they are breeding size because I have spotted babies in the tank! I ship only on Mondays and Tuesdays so your fish don't spend a relaxing weekend in the Post Office, and I ship Priority Mail. You will pay $10 in addition to the auction price for shipping, which doesn't cover the whole cost but is close enough for me. So bid early, bid high and stay safe!
