40+ Developing Eggs
Offered here are 40+ eggs of this classic killi. They do well in a group, and the males provide much entertainment in that setting as they flash and stage mock battles competing for female attention. Much like WWE wrestling, no one is ever actually hurt! They are gregarious fish that will always rush up and beg for food as soon as they see you approach.
Be aware these are very small eggs, and the fry require several days of smaller foods before they are able to take newly hatched BBS. A nice wad of java moss or other bottom plant from an older tank placed into the fry container along with some ramshorn snails helps a lot. You should also have one of the small nematode cultures - vinegar eels or micro/walter/banana worms to help get the fry 'over the hump' and on to BBS.
You will receive 40+ fertile, developing eggs shipped in water with a trace of methylene blue. The eggs and then the fry are visible, and you can monitor their development and hatching without having to separate them from peat. I get much better results with this fish water incubating than on peat. Water incubation allows for removing any eggs that do fungus, and I always include some 7ml pipettes for moving and feeding fry.
This auction ships only to the continental United States and Puerto Rico. First Class Mail shipping is $4.25, and Priority Mail runs between $6 and $10. If you are considering Priority shipping, please contact me with your zip code for the exact shipping cost before buying or bidding.
