Austrolebias bellottii Ezeiza, Buenos Aires Your are bidding on 20+ hand-picked fertilized eggs of amazing South American annual killifish - Austrolebias bellottii Ezeiza, Buenos Aires. It is important to maintain this species at low temperatures most of the time otherwise egg production diminishes. Although this species is an annual it can live for more than 2 years if kept at lower temperatures from 5 - 20C. The eggs' incubation period of these species could be quite long, sometimes you may need to wet some eggs in a batch after a year of the collection date. All depends on incubating temperature, peat dampness and other factors. In any case it is strongly recommended to check the eggs every 2 - 3 weeks for their development.
The eggs are posted in a peat moss enclosed in a plastic bag which is placed in a padded bubble envelope. Unfortunately I can't guarantee the hatch rate. The storage conditions during transportation is out of my control and at buyer's risk. You must ensure that the weather conditions in your country (region) are favourable to a shipment of the fish eggs before ordering. I don't refund money or re-send another pack of eggs if the package is lost in the post, seized by customs, or you did something wrong and couldn't manage to hatch the fry. Please read appropriate literature, study various Internet sources dedicated to this species before ordering the eggs.
The eggs are sent from Glasgow (Scotland). All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP). Delivery within the UK is 3.00 GBP, Europe - 7.00 GBP, other countries - 8.00 GBP. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
