Description

15 + 1 Pure Red Line Crystal Red Shrimp S-SS grade. Size ~1/2 inch. Home raised, disease free, not imported. Unlike regular crystal red shrimp, PRLs have been selectively bred to breed true in color. They're purebreds. They were never crossed with golden bees as regular crystal reds were. Therefore, regular crystal reds can produce golden bee offspring as well as the standard red and whites. So if you want only red and white shrimp, PRLs are the way to go. They breed true. Pure Red Line shrimp should be introduced to a cycled aquarium. A cycled, inexpensive sponge filter is all that's necessary for filtration. They prefer a pH of a little less than 7. I've had good luck using ADA active substrates to achieve a slightly acidic environment, but there are other brands as well. For water I use distilled water remineralized with Salty Shrimp GH+ to a GH of 6. They like a temperature range of between 68 and 76 degrees. My parameters are as follows: pH = 6.5, KH = 0, GH = 6, TDS = 130 at 70 degrees F. All sales final. No returns. Only PayPal accepted unless other arrangements are made in advance of sale.
