10 Live Green Babaulti Shrimp (Caradina babaulti) + Free Java Moss
Larger or smaller quantities available on request! Just visit us at our website, www.aquaticarts.com, or email us at [emailprotected]
NOTE: These are officially called Green Babaulti shrimp, but about half of them are born with a sun-kissed orange coloration. So if you order from us, you will receive a mix of the neon green and orange colored shrimp. The two colors together are really eye-catching, and we're certain you'll appreciate the variety they add to your tank!
These Green Babaulti Shrimp are a fairly rare specimen within the aquarium hobby. Dwarf shrimp are hard enough to find at pet stores, and you'd be especially hard-pressed to find these in any pet store in the USA. They can be difficult to come by even online, which is surprising given their unique and striking colors. These freshwater shrimp hail from India. They grow to a maximum size of a half to 1 1/2 inches.
RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS:
- PH level range: 6.8 to 7.8
- Temperature range: 75 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit
- Water type: Soft or hard, but avoid extremes
- Recommended InvertObsession tank mates: Other types of dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.), various types of snails (such as Nerite Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish.
- Additional notes: Relatively easy to care for - similar to other dwarf shrimp species. These shrimp in particular tend to breed more in hard water. Dwarf shrimp prefer to live in tanks with live aquatic plants (such as java moss, willow moss, hornwort, etc.). This is because dwarf shrimp like the cover that plants provide, they love to graze on the plants for algae, and the plants help keep the water clean for them.PAYMENT INFORMATION
