Description

6 unsexed juveniles about 1/2 to 3/4" (plus 2 extra for any DOA's) of this mouth brooding Cichlid on the CARES list. This comes from the crater lake Barombi Mbo in Cameroon. The scientific name loosely translated means hot mouth. The adults will change color from golden brown with stripes and blushing cheeks to solid black depending on mood and if breeding. They are a mostly mid swimming semi-schooling fish that will eat prepared foods. But, they do seem to practice paedophagy. They're great for getting rid of excess fry or guppies of other fish. Picture of one of our adults while sporting the gold coloration.

$20 for shipping USPS priority mail (usually 2-3 days). USPS Express over night shipping $60. We ship only on Mondays or Tuesdays after payment is received. Fry are usually individually packed in breather bags. Box is lined with foil bubble wrap insulation or styrofoam. No heat pack. Live arrival guarantee if received by Thursday. Please submit photo of DOA in the bag within 2 hours of arrival if there are less than 6 alive. Shipping costs are non-refundable for DOA's. We are currently not labeling boxes with "live fish" stickers due to local distribution center delaying those boxes.
