Description

6 juvenile, unsexed, transcriptus Gombe. The fish you are bidding on are approx 1"-1.5". The parents are pictured. This is a short, stocky strain of transcriptus. The parents are approx 6 years old and the larger fish of the pair is approx 3". Colors are vivid. This strain develops a distinct blue iridescence on the edge of the fins. I keep the parents in a 20 gallon aquarium with with fine grade gravel and 1 rock cave. They regularly produce small clutches of fry. Several generations of young can be raised together with the parents. I keep them in hard Lake Erie tap water at 78 degrees. I feed them Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, chopped frozen bloodworm and the occasional squirt of live baby brine shrimp. I change about 1/3 of their water weekly. I've also successfully kept them in Tanganyikan community tanks with leleupi, multis and comps. Shipping is $15 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. This auction will ship Saturday 11/2. So payment is requested at the close of auction on Friday 11/1. If payment is not received as requested, I will relist the auction. Thanks for looking.
