Description: I think this is the most colorful collection point of this beautiful species. These are spectacular when mature...absolutely stunning. I don't have any adults that I can take pictures of for you, but do yourself a favor and run a Google search of these fish...stunning. Like most Geophagus, these are wonderful in a group and do well in community aquariums. There is some aggression when they defend a spawning site but, in general, they won't bother any fish they can't easily swallow. These are currently small fish in the 2" - 2.5" range (give or take a bit), which makes them perfect for shipping. This species gets around 6" when fully grown. They have some growing to do before they display their amazing adult colors. Live arrival guaranteed. More available. Shipping starts at $15.00. I'm happy to combine shipping with other items.
