Tunes! Hello folks! Happy 4th of July! This offering is going to come to you in a small 12 X 9 X 6 box. You will receive the Pr. of line bred Convicts you can see below. This is a line of Convicts I acquired from a local hobbyist quite a few years ago, I'd say at least a decade ago. Her name is Diane and I have always just called them "Diane's Convicts". Some of the local breeders call them "Blue Ice" convicts if you want a more sexy name for them. I saw this pair take over a cave yesterday and it was obvious they had paired up and where getting ready to breed so I caught them, photographed them and moved them to their own tank so I could offer them here at Aquabid.com. These fish have a green body with lots of blue highlights, females and even some males end up with red spots through the stomach region and I can not recommend them highly enough for someone looking to breed their first egglayer. Everything about breeding this line is easy including selling them once they get up to selling size. They are NOT your every day boring convicts they are SWEET looking fish! They are also less aggressive than regular convicts and do very well in tanks with medium sized community tanks right up until their fry start moving around, then things can become a little dicey. The fry are born large enough to be fed finely ground up Tetramin and they are just a lot of fun to mess with. They are just an all around easy egglayer to work with AND they start to develop their adult colors when they are as small as 1 to 1 1/2 inches long.
