PROVEN BREEDING PAIR OF ALBINO BRISTLENOSE � � I try to mention what other bristlenose I have which are available for sale in my auctions for the babies. Sometimes I don't have pictures of the fish yet but if someone wanted them I would sell them. Nowhere did I mention having any adult albinos for sale but that is what everyone inquires about. Okay, I can take a hint. Ever heard the old saying "good, cheap, fast... you can only pick two"? I have lots of nice healthy plecos starting at only $2 each and sexable big juveniles (sub adults, pre-breeders, call them what you want) for $6, none over $10. None of those fish are going to spawn in the next month though. If you want mature breeding fish which will give you fry this fall (fast & good), it's not going to be dirt cheap. As I write this auction, there is only one other seller offering any proven bristlenose pairs, he's got longfin calicos. If you want LF calicos, I doubt you would be reading this. When you see a *pair* for sale, read the auction carefully. Have the fish ever bred? With each other? You really think the seller would leave out those important details? A pair of albino Bristlenose! Two sexed albinos 1 male 1 female at 2"+ One sounds a lot better than the other, right? Think the first one is worth more? They may be the exact same thing. The second one may even be more accurate. But the seller knows you want a pair so that is how it is presented. It's called marketing. If that is what you want and you are willing to wait months for fry, then this auction is not for you. Move along, here you go: Pleco Auctions. There is nothing wrong with the fish, just understand what you are buying! This auction is for a proven pair of unrelated adult albino Bristlenose. These are my personal fish, parents to some of the baby fish I sell. They have been producing fry since the spring. The male has no bad habits, doesn't knock the eggs out of his cave, not grouchy. The chicks dig him, sometimes I add a third fish to the tank and make this a trio. The ONLY reason I chose these particular fish is because he isn't fussy about his cave at all and has a rather roomy one which I will have no trouble getting him out of to ship. The photos were taken 9/14 and the one below includes a female which has since been sold. You are bidding on the two fish to the right. The male is ~4", the female ~ 3.5". The container is on 0.65" eggcrate. These are young fish and are still growing. 100% the fry are albino. � � These are the only albino breeders for sale, just this pair.
