A PayPal account is required for this auction. ***** IF YOU HAVE NO FEEDBACK, THIS MEANS YOU! ***** Fish pictured are much smaller than these guys currently are. Fish for sale are about 1.25" to 1.75+, not wee little babies! Bushynose are the greatest little algae eaters there are. These stay small, roughly 4", never more than 5". Hardy too, they aren't delicate like other algae eaters such as ottos can be. Please keep in mind that adult bushynose plecs may be territorial and even may fight. This is much more likely with males but even some females may be aggressive. The possible territorial issues which may develop is why I am offering the fish singly, buy as many as you want, one, three, five or ten, whatever YOU want. Not a set number like in the other auctions. If you only have a single 29G, 2 or 3 is plenty! The fish are still too young to discern males from females. I have been shipping the larger fish each week so it is slightly more likely that the remaining fish are female. Minimum tank size for an adult BN is 20Gs which can handle one male, a male & female or two females. Allow 10G for each additional bushynose. A diet rich in fiber including fresh veggies such as zucchini, green beans and collard greens is required. Driftwood for them to rasp on is advised and will provide additional cellulose fiber and aid digestion. Fish are bagged in Kordon Breather Bags. Conditioning of fish prior to shipping will take 48-72 hours. Shipping for one or two fish may be as low as $10-$12 via USPS Priority. Six fish begins at $16-$18. Express starts at $30. For an accurate shipping quote email with zipcode (not "near St. Louis") and the number of fish you wish to purchase. Serious inquiries only please. Live arrival guarantee using USPS Priority if delivered within 2 days and temperature is less than 80F. Will not ship via Priority if your daily highs are over 85F (FL, MS, LA, TX, Desert Southwest, S. CA etc.). Only Express is available to hot locations and ONLY if Express is guaranteed for next day delivery. Live arrival guarantee using USPS Express delivered next day. Please confirm USPS Express Mail is overnight delivery to your town from zip 01888 before bidding, this is YOUR responsibility. Some parts of the country are already getting frosty. I have 40 hr. (up to 2 days, $2), 60 hr. (2-3 days, $3) & 72 hr. (3-4 days, $4) heat packs as needed for your location. I do check destination forecasts for every shipment of live goods. If you will be having a sudden brief hot or cold spell, no problem. I can just delay shipping until you return to normal SAFE temps. Not responsible for USPS delays.
