Hello Folks! This auction is for 3 Tetraodon nigroviridis I have had swimming around the fish room the past few weeks. These are NICE SIZED puffers and all three of them are approaching 3 inches in length. I have all three of these in a 20 gallon long and they are getting along fine but they are puffers so there is no guarantee that will last forever. All three of these fish are HEALTHY, thriving fish, and they should be. I bought them for the sole purpose of getting rid of a about 3 thousand Ramshorn and Trumpet snails and they have been eating snails like crazy for well over a Month now in the fish room. I DON'T have any salt in with these puffers but I do have hard, alkaline water. You can search the Internet reading about these fish until your eye's fall out of their sockets trying to find out if these are brackish water fish if you want to, or you can take my word for it when I tell you these actually live in SALT water and only their babies are collected in and sold as "freshwater" puffers. That means if you want to keep these fish healthy long term you either have to put them in Brackish water or a marine tank to do it. But so what? How hard is it to dump a couple cups of salt in to a 20 long and then replace the salt when you do a water change? If you win this auction I am also going to send you a mix of about 100-150 Ramshorn and Trumpet snails just so you have a nice supply of snails to toss in with these 3 fish. I am also going to send you some freeze dried earthworms to feed them too. (They love those damn things almost as much as they do snails.) If you have never kept puffers before they are quite interesting and they do actually make great "pets" and I absolutely guarantee these 3 fish are healthy so now would be a good time to give them a shot.
